Enthusiastic and self-sufficient manager and research scientist with 15 years of experience, leading various multidisciplinary projects in research and industry roles. Natural leader, excellent communication skills, strong team player with hands-on experience. Dr. Sorek-Hamer's interdisciplinary working experience, PhD training and subsequent professional experience have provided her with the skills in Earth and space science, remote sensing, spatial statistics, and environmental science, to effectively provide project management and leadership roles. As PI and Co-I on several NASA and external funded grants, she is familiar and experienced with managing multidisciplinary projects that include development of schedules, budget, and keeping track of all tasks and subtasks with strong collaborations with several groups in the environmental health and remote sensing fields.
